On The Quilting Front...

I've been working on my stamp basket quilt...remember this one from the Jo Morton exchange?
I needed to make 8 more blocks to get the size quilt I wanted. Well, I have 6 blocks in various stages of being "almost" done!

Wow...seems with retirement I have more time to get some sewing done...Imagine that?

And the house is clean with the laundry done too!

Life is good ...

Hugs,

Elaine

I do like your basket blocks. Jo Morton fabrics and postage stamp baskets make a good combo.

Being retired is great for having more time for the fun things in life. I have been retired over 3 years and love it.

I'm glad you're enjoying retirement and have more time to do the things you love! It's amazing how much interest the different shirting backgrounds bring to this quilt. I really like this and I'm not that fond of baskets. This is definitely an exception - it's going to be gorgeous!

Isn't it fun to have time to do something we enjoy each day? I don't know why people say life begins at 40 - I'd say it begins at retirement!!!

I love your basket blocks. This has always been one of my favorite patterns.
